Helen Roelofsen

Our mom, Helen Roelofsen (nee Pavlus) passed away peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Strathroy on Friday, December 28, 2018 at the age of 86 years, surrounded by loved ones. Loving farmer’s wife of the late Albert Roelofsen (1999). Cherished mother of Michael & Grace Roelofsen, Janet & Frank Vandenberg and Brad & Tracy Roelofsen. Sweet grandmother of Steve & Venessa Roelofsen, Sean Roelofsen & Rachel, Cindy & Steve Rombouts and Greg & Jenna Vandenberg. Great Grandmother of Olivia & Sydney Roelofsen, Ava, Hunter & Nash Rombouts and Vaeda Vandenberg. Predeceased by her parents, Demetrius & Mary Pavlus who immigrated from Czechoslovakia. Predeceased by her sisters Mary Cupedro (late John) and Anne Monteith (late Harry). Also survived by her brothers-in-law Ted Roelofsen (late Alice), John & Nelly Roelofsen all of Canada, and other relatives in Holland. As well survived by many nieces and nephews.  Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF FOREST, 9 James Street South, Forest, on Thursday, January 3, 2019, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.  A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home.  For those who wish in memoriam, donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation or The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, would be appreciated by the family.
