Obituary of Ronald Ellerker

ELLERKER, Mr. Ronald Herbert Passed away at Bluewater Health Services, Sarnia, on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at the age of 83 years. Ronald, beloved husband of 62 years to Irene, dear father of Joan (Brian) Parizeau and Tracey (Tom) Cook, and loved grandfather of Marc, Luc, and Shelbi Parizeau, and Courtney, Kelsey, and Ryan Cook. Predeceased by his sons Glenn (1955), Ted (1975), and Wayne (1997). Survived by his sister Thelma Wilson, and his nephews Ken, Brian, and Gary Wilson and their families. Predeceased by his niece Betty Wilson. Besides farming all of his life, Ronald successfully bred and raised horses and he trained, raced, and drove his own for many years at Windsor, London's Western Fair, and in Toronto. Friends may call at the FOREST CHAPEL of DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 9 James Street South, Forest, on Friday, January 7, 2011, from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the chapel on Saturday afternoon, January 8, 2011, at 1:30 pm with Rev. David Dyke officiating.
